From Floyd County Schools: Schools will close today at 1 p.m. All after school care and after school activities have been canceled for today. The snow forecast has been moved a little farther north. Amount of snow is still uncertain, but to make sure we get high school teen drivers home and off the roads, we are making this change in schedule as a precaution. The latest weather report came in at 9 a.m. and shows as much as an inch of snow possible. Please make arrangements for picking-up your child or having someone at home.
