From Gail P. Davis-Mercer Cupids festival...the Cupers Cove Soiree is happening this w/end....lots to see and do...AND book a meal at Skipper Bens ....phone # 709 528 4436. A must try is their cod or salmon dishes.Their soup is divine, their coleslaw is not your everyday coleslaw...it should be named something more exotic and befitting such a tasty combination and Viola makes the most darling little loaves of bread daily I must add for each table...Skipper Bens is not just a B & B with fabulous roms but also open for lunch and evening dinner. It is a licensed establishment so you have your drink on the front blacony( weather permitting) and enjoy a wonderful meal. PLEASE check them out.I can personally recommend them...and the portions are large and the prices are very reasonable!!! Did I mention they use damask or linen table cloths and napkins at every table?
