From Jesica Golightly: I am super excited to share my daughters progress with Plexus!!! My 13yr old daughter has Type 1 diabetes. She was diagnosed when she was 2.5 years old and started on a pump at 3.5 years old. In the 10.5 years she has been a diabetic, I have NEVER lowered her insulin dose. (Which makes sense as she has constantly grown.) UNTIL TODAY!!! She has been drinking Slim and taking ProBio5 and XFactor since the end of January. All of these products were approved by her Endocrinologist. As a matter of fact, her doctor said, I dont see anything in here [ingredients] that will hurt. In fact, I can only see benefits from this. About 2 weeks ago, my daughter started having multiple low blood sugars. (This is VERY unusual for her as she struggles with high Bgs most of the time.) We have watched her very close so we could detect trends. In the past few days, she has had 4 severe lows (bg 40 or below) with dizziness and blurred vision. This has been a bit scary as shes never experienced these symptoms! After reviewing her bgs, we have determined we will have to REDUCE her insulin to prevent the low bgs shes been experiencing! I am shocked at the results Plexus has given her!!! Her sugar and carb cravings have also decreased dramatically. My sugar addict has been DECLINING sweets!! We initially saw a leveling of her blood sugars; less spikes up and dips down were occurring. I am convinced that Plexus has helped my daughters body to better utilize the insulin she is given. As a type 1 diabetic, she will never be cured as her pancreas no longer produces insulin on its own. She can however care for herself and gain optimal benefit from the insulin given to her daily. The less insulin she has to take now, the better for her in the long run! I am so very thankful for Gods work in leading us to these amazing products!!! Everyone in my family is reaping the benefits!
