From Jesus Calling Bible: Thought for the week Try as I might, I cannot grasp just how vast and deep and perfect Your love for me is. I simply cant wrap my mind around it. Will You show me, God? I want to grow closer to You so I can know You more. I want to discover You, and in that process, come to understand more of who I am and how You created me, for Im a stranger even to myself sometimes. Truthfully, there are times when I dont really like myself all that much: I get embarrassed by the way I overact to situation, by the wrong desires I struggle with. I believe You put me here for a reason and gave me the good desires I have. So rather than focusing on my wrong desires, Lord, I ask You to draw me close and teach me more about You. You already know me fully, I yearn to know You fully too.
