From John Motil: In the past 2 Tac Rifle I classes I have had an AR and a SCAR with Timney Triggers that failed to function. While the Timney is a very nice drop in trigger unit ranging in price from $220 to $330 it was never intended to be used in a Tactical Rifle. These drop in units are depending on tension from set screws to hold the unit in place and maintain a safe trigger pull weight. So if you have a precision rifle and can degrease and LOCTITE the set screws and achieve a safe trigger pull I would highly recommend these triggers. For a fighting tactical Rifle that you would stake your life on I would only trust a GEISSELE
