From Richard: Alright folks, here is the big announcement youve been waiting for... After several meetings with my good friend Jason Freeze, and chats with some great Brantford people and services, We have decided that this fall we are going to go to the presses. Literally. A new monthly publication entitled B Scene will focus on the Experiences, the People, the Ideas and the Culture of Brantford and Brant. Online and in print, we will attempt to answer the age-old question Whats going on in Brantford? by focusing on events to come, and reviewing events that have passed; by profiling great artists, cultural icons, citizens and businesses of the area; and by providing a place that we can all enjoy, relate, and respond to. Do not be misled - This is also not a newspaper. This is a paper that you can pick up with a cup of coffee, read a little, or a lot, and enjoy. We wont be talking about the negative things that go on -- there are other outlets for that. Wed rather focus on the Triumphs, Challenges, and Champions that make this city and county great. It is not a mistake that we used the acronym EPIC as the slogan for this project. Weve seen the underpinnings of an epic renaissance in this city and county. We want to grow with you, share with you, and enjoy with you. We would also love to hear and share your story, challenge or triumph. I know Ive chatted with a few of you already. If you would like to contribute an article, or hear more about B Scene, talk to Jason or myself, and we would love to discuss it further. Lets build an awesome Brantford and Brant together, shall we?
