From Robb this evening: I had stopped by the clinic around 5:30 a.m. after taking Robert/Kelli to the airport. Katie had been resting fine all night and when I left around 6 a.m....went back to the apartment to get some sleep. We got back to the clinic later on and they had the medical emergency team finishing some work on her. Her sodium output had gone up along with her heart rate. They made some adjustments and those have come down. She had her pituitary meds but they had to give a little extra. We have asked many of you to pray about her vision and the need for it to be made whole....of which we need militant prayer on that...in addition we NEED to add this pituitary item to that...so much is tied to that little thing...obviously a creative healing needs to happen....all levels tied to that need balancing (hormone, sodium,electrolytes,body temperature, heart rate, etc)...Im sure Im forgetting something but the Holy Spirit has better perspectives than I do...share this who will cry out to God in faith for His healing grace...so much is and has been targeted at this kid...and us...as i shared with someone, I feel like a ship that has drifted at sea spiritually for some time and a horrible storm came out of nowhere and shoved me back and nearer my home waters/land. This thing, this event has ressurected a faith that has lied dormant/been neglected or ignored...ashamedly I must say it has been mistreated/abused...probably even rebelled against. Regardless, all we have is Christ, His word, His spirit and His people...so much has been stripped away...but thats okay....it seems you must lose much to find much...We cant make it and Katies path is merely rehabilitative/therapeutic/convalescent without those divine gifts just mentioned. ...remembering that He who began a good work......what are those home waters/land?...it is the place where one can believe in/rejoice in and receive the grace of a radical/reconstructive and restorative healing...it is a grace for each of us...thanks for your prayers. We love you and need you.
