From Sept. 1967: Sir Douglas Quintet at SR Fairgrounds. Noted here mainly for the opening band, Tomorrow Midnight, local faves who lasted a while and were usually second billed to top liners. I think some members went to another local band, Abraxas Rising, not sure. This is a black/white handbill; Ive not seen a full color poster, but some may exist. The faces on the side are S. Freud and Oscar Wilde. The inset photo is of early 20th C. folks. There are tiny lettered quotes at the sides, hard to see, but read, You have a great capacity for loving, and George Orwell Big Brother is Watching You. Way 60s huh!!
