From Signe -- Tucson Cold Wet Noses: There are 2 sets of Moms and pups sitting at PACC. They came in on the 22. Every pup w/ moms from last month died of distemper after sitting in PACC for too long. Both sets are from the same (stupid) household. I can take them very temporarily but CANNOT commit to long term if everyone can share and we can find 2 foster homes for them (unless someone can take both). I have a front bedroom they could all stay in for a couple of weeks but I CANNOT take on 2 Moms and puppies as I am one person and have 25 other dogs and 18 cats plus I have to go to work as well so if I take them everyone MUST work on finding them a new place and not relax because they are out of PACC. PLease share and see if we can get them out. PS I am exhausted but I took Laura and her 7 pups in December only to watch them die one by one from distemper. I still have Laura (in quarantine) and she is not out of the woods yet and I dont want to see the same thing happen to these guys.
