From YYN: Our right to promote our own music is under attack! Copyright on two videos by Yeah Yeah Noh; She pulls the Petal from the Flower and another side to Mrs Quill (21st Century Mix) has been claimed by a company called The Orchard music. A simple search soon reveals that The Orchard Music are well known for this scam. They claim copyright over others material and that prevents artists from collecting any money on videos. If the artist files a dispute with You Tube/Google, as we have, the Orchard Music simply re-assert their right. We have now appealed that decision and we are awaiting the response from You Tube/Google. Now we are under threat that the videos will be taken down, removed from the public domain. We think this has happened to many other independent bands and we would like to hear from them.
