From a bookstore worker... Oh, the worst was the religious pamphlets. The whackjobs would come with their pamphlets and attempt to stuff at least one into every single book in the store they considered objectionable. Which, since it was a normal bookstore, was about 90% of the books in the store. Then wed have to pull every single book off the shelf and shake it out to remove the spam pamphlet. We eventually got so annoyed we reorganized the store to put the most-targeted sections (Occult, Gay & Lesbian anything, Science Fiction) immediately adjacent to the help desk so we could keep a constant eye on them. We also moved the Gay & Lesbian Erotica section next to the Christianity section, just for shits and giggles.
