From a child of a former prisoner of conscience to the children of the current prisoners of conscience: 1). Be strong and be proud. Your mother/father joined the most honorable cause and did something extraordinary--thats why the oppressor had to detain them because their oppressive power was threatened by your mother/fathers effort. 2). When your mother/father is detained, youre their free spirit. You ARE them, except that theyre in prison and youre out walking free, so you have the capability to do what theyd do if they were a free woman/man. 3). 12 midnight to 6 am is sleeping time. Every waking second of the rest of each day is dedicated to fighting for their freedom. 4). Have a plan. Whenever meet with someone to talk about freeing your mother/father, tell them exactly what they can do to help. 5). Constantly let your mother/father know that youre on their side, fighting for their freedom along with millions other countrymen/women. 6). Make sure they have food, medicine and all other necessities. 7). If you fail, try again. If you fail again, keep trying, because you can give up on anything, but you cannot give up on your hero mother/father.
