We can BAN FRACKING in SB if we all get out and vote and tell everyone how important this is for our health and safety! This is THE MOST IMPORTANT issue Ive seen in my lifetime in terms of drastically changing the health and safety of where I and the people I love LIVE! FACT: There are 7,700 extreme extraction oil wells (fracking, steam injection, acidization) that are proposed for drilling next year in Santa Barbara County! FACT: Each well is fracked about 18 times, which will require MASSIVE amounts of water, totaling an average of 144 Million Gallons of clean water for each well! FACT: 40,000 gallons of toxic chemicals are used for each frack that gets into our ground water and cannot be filtered out! FACT: The contaminates that are used cannot be legally dumped so the oil companies re-inject them into the earth through an explosive technique that creates seismic activity! FACT: Measure P will BAN FRACKING, steam injection, and acidization so we wont have these risks if we all get out and vote YES ON P! FACT: The No on P campaign is entirely funded by big oil companies who want to get their money out of SB county and take off without taking responsibility for the effects on all of us! (PLEASE question what you are hearing from No on P!) PLEASE DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN to VOTE and tell everyone you know how important this is to get out and vote YES ON P…….. its gonna be close and we can win this…….. every vote counts!!!
