From the Life and Times of Grizzly Gutierrez ( 8 years ago today ) 8 years ago today my life changed forever . My oldest daughter Natasha was taken from us at the age of 18 . When I say us , I think of all the people she has touched . There are some that never met her , yet in her own special way she has entered their lives . As many of you know the number 222 is one of the signs that Natasha sends . And yes at 222 this morning I was up an trying to think of what to write for my Grizzly post for today . At 2:41 I received a text from Natashas cousin Fallonn Braaten , telling me how after months of trying to get pregnant and in the last month before she conceived , she asked a specific Angel to send them a baby . She said she asked Natasha if she wouldnt mind sending one of the special Angels down to her and Jeffrey Braaten Jr. And she DID !! Fallon went on to say that their new born son Cooper has what is called an" Angels kiss " on the side of his head , that is a birth mark in the hair that turns white . She said she knows deep in her heart that was Natashas kiss on her precious baby boys head . I read the posts from Natashas cousin Shonte Shanice , who is expecting a little princess soon . And according to alot of Shontes posts that little princess has a habit of giving her Momma fits !! I cant help but think that Natasha is playing a part in all that . Paybacksfor all the pestering Shonte would give when she would come visit lol . Today will be the last ultra sound before the little princess arrives ! As for me , I know in my heart that Natasha played a big part in adding a new chapter to my life . From giving me my beautiful wife Kari Lynn Gutierrez, too blessing me with my precious little Arionah . She too bears the mark of an Angel , on the left side of her face is a heart shaped birthmark close to her eye . The same eye that stays somewhat open when she sleeps . The same way Natashas would when she slept . I look at what she has done for Alexis Gutierrez . Each day I watch as she grows into a beautiful young lady . The other day she showed me a story she wrote for one of her classes . She said , Dad I made the teacher cry with this one . She handed me the notebook and as I read it I couldnt hold back the tears . It was about the night she lost her sister . I couldnt hold her tight enough . God bless you all and sometime today reach out to those you love and let them know how they have touched your life . And always hug your babies and tell them you LOVE THEM !
