From the November Monthly Meeting: Jerald asks (19:03:25): Hi Ken...I have a profound insight from one of my Dream tickets, I wanted to share. I was taking my daily walk, and I saw a few pieces of litter in the street, and decided to do Dream Ticket #8, pick up some litter. There was no fanfare, no one was watching, but I felt this deep sense of satisfaction and pride, that I just made our neighborhood better. Then it dawned on me what all the Dream Tickets are all about. These exercises are truly like the movie, The Karate Kid. Wax on, Wax Off. They may seem like simple exercises but they are very powerful perception changers towards our success. The lesson I learned from picking up the litter, is that, I could transfer that same sense of satisfaction and pride into the work of my business and my life. I really didnt need the fanfare, applause, and recognition for doing a great job. The doing, was satisfaction enough. That really changed my perception, and gave me a greater understanding of what Walt Disney meant, when he said, plus It! Ken Says: By George, I think hes got it!!! Thank you Jerald! We must put our Intentions into action to set them into motion.
