From the foster! Hi! Its me, Mocha (FKA Brooklyn)! I am a gorgeous mastiff mix. Today marks one month since I left the shelter! My first few weeks were spent recovering from a nasty bout of pneumonia, so I was under veterinary care as soon as I got to my foster family. My human sisters are so in love with me, and true to my breed I am very protective of each of them. Some of my favorite games to play with them are tug and fetch, although I dont really like giving up the ball once I get it. I am completely housebroken and my mom says I have been awesome learning manners and commands like sit and stay. I even know how to give my paw and everyone is impressed. Since I was sick and could barely eat, I lost some weight in the beginning, but I have been gaining it back thanks to the yummy food and treats my family has been giving me, so now I am at a healthy weight for my body! And I am slowly socializing with humans outside my family. I am beginning to learn to take their cues that most humans are not trying to hurt me, so I am more open to making new friends. I am so glad to have been given the opportunity to have a forever home!
