From the moment I met my husband...I knew in my heart right away that he was an outstanding man and our souls were meant to be together...forever! God placed Luke and Josh in my life for a reason and Im now learning more and more every day why...and Im beyond grateful for it! Just in this last week and mainly today I learned that my husband is more than outstanding he is beyond incredible, no words can explain it (they say youre attracted to men like your father and that is very true, my daddy and husband ALWAYS put their children first...no matter what, family, family, family). My husband has the largest heart full of love and kindness especially when it comes to his children and I!! I am now learning that emotions can get the best of you and cause more harm than good! He just called his ex parent-in-laws and apologized for any wrong doings over the years and asks for them to please allow and respect his wishes towards a new beginning...between all us especially for Luke because he deserves it!! He spoke to his ex father-in-law for 38 minutes and had an very respectful conversation with him. I am happy to say they are now on the same page...and that is the greatest step in the right direction for everyone!! Josh is now trying to reach out to Lukes mother and express the same concerns in whats best for Luke all around family and friendship between everyone...all parties involved We have all been so wrapped up in blaming each other, rather than focusing on eliminating the hostile and animosity from their nasty divorce and all of our hatred towards each other over the last eight years... Josh, my love I am so proud of you for stepping up and admitting your wrong doings, but I completely understand how emotionally attached you got into all of these situations when we both felt we were only doing what was right for Luke and we still feel that we were right in our ways, however we are going to change our approach at it and fix all of this! In the eyes of the court system they created monsters out of everyone, not only you and I, but Lukes mother as well...and we all know that is not the case! We have to except certain things that we dont like and put our trust in God and Lukes mother in knowing she only wants the best for him as well...while like is not in our custody. Luke is a very intelligent, beautiful, outgoing child...who is so kind and caring, so intern obviously we all have done something right throughout all of this animosity!!! He deserves peace between us all and I believe with us rising above the situation and trying our hardest at improving it, it will only improve him in becoming an even more outstanding young man! What it boils down to...is our hearts only wanted and want what best for Luke! Divorce situations are difficult enough, especially when there are children involved. Josh and Lukes mother have failed at working together and I was placed in the middle trying to help, which only created more problems. I understand it must be very difficult to except another human taking your place while in another home, with me staying that...I only mean being the step-mother Luke deserves under our roof. I know in my heart Josh has his arms wide open and I pray and hope that Lukes mother feels the same. For we all make mistakes, but the good Lord allows us time and time again to turn our wrongs into rights! We all should feel very blessed for that! Thank you everyone for standing by us especially Luke and praying for him! You all have helped us all learn how to become better people! With love and smiles from the bottom of my heart, Jocelyn ❤️
