From the technology is fun file. Someone called and left a message on my bosss voice mail. The caller said their name and number so fast that it is completely indecipherable. Some of you might know that I teach a telephone etiquette workshop so I could not resist this opportunity. I got my phone out and voice recorded the voice mail. I sent the audio file to my work email and saved it on my computer. I then inserted the audio file into my PowerPoint presentation on the slide about leaving effective voice mails. Dont worry, The name got cut out. Its just the number being spoken too fast. Morale of story: speak your phone number slowly when leaving voice mails.
