The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Network is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to create a collaborative community effort that strengthens the mental health and substance abuse services and create a comprehensive system of care in southwest Iowa. At the Network, I often convene key stakeholders and lead community conversation to find solutions about the needs in our communities. In 2013, the Network was a NACo (National Associations of Counties) Achievement Award winner, Alternatives to Incarceration project. Woo Hoo! I love being a collaborator, a leader and an innovator!
