Fun project for your kids today goes like this... its a really simple one and loads of fun... so lets begin! Make a fun spinning top toy from cardboard and a pencil. Kids will enjoy this project at every step and love the patterns made at every spin from the attached pencil. Materials: Cardboard (a cereal box is perfect) White paper Glue Crayons or color pencil Pencil (3-4 inches long) Directions: 1. Glue white paper onto cardboard. Its easier to decorate on white paper. 2. Trace a circle and cut out (use a cup or lid to trace the circle). 3. Divide circle into sections and let the child color in with different colors. 4. Poke a hole in the middle and insert a short pencil. The pencil will draw patterns as it spins, so its better to play on a piece of paper. See whos top can last the longest and draw exciting patterns…happy playing!!
