Further to the previous communication, another senior position for the post of Commercial Executive – Operations has arisen. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the chosen candidate will be expected to:- -Develop, sell and grow the Company’s established flight and ground operations services (ACMI/Aircraft Management, Charters & Ground Handling/Charter Services, EASA CCTO, etc.) business to existent and new international clients; -Identify new international markets, prepare attractive sales campaigns, deploy customer engagement surveys and preparation of competitive offers; -Meet and exceed sales targets on a regular basis; -Conduct regular meetings with existent and potential customers as well as represent the Company at international operations related fairs and conferences; -Collect and validate intelligence to identify business risks, concerns and solutions in prospective countries of operation; -Implement actions/tactics to influence the market thus keeping abreast of trends and needs; -Discuss, develop and propose innovative operational business development and sales strategies; -Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients; -Administer sales operating budgets and provide recurrent accurate reports to Management; -Liaise with the marketing department to ensure that the Company’s flight and ground operations business branding material is in line with sales requirements; -Work closely with the Company’s revenue departments to discuss market segments, priorities, capabilities and resources; -Perform other related duties as they may arise. Applicants must have a very good understanding of the aviation Operations side of the business and associated sales procedures. They must be willing to travel extensively and have good presentation skills. Demonstrable experience in this space is required. The Company is looking for someone who possesses great levels of self-confidence and who can confidently communicate in both written and verbal communication as well as listen and understand clients’ needs and requirements. Excellent negotiation, persuasion and closing skills are essential for this role. Prospective candidates should have a record of transforming business opportunities into lucrative contracts. The selected candidate should be of a positive attitude, assertive, emotionally intelligent, proactive and with the right attitude in resolving business and customer related matters. Preference will be given to candidates who have been working in an Operations/sales environment with extensive know-how and reliable contacts in African and European markets. He/she should be in possession of a recognized Aviation/Marketing/Management Degree or the equivalent. A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate.
