Further update on Keresley End incident Incident 67, March 12 Police are questioning a 22 year old man who was arrested last night in connection with a shooting incident in Keresley End during the morning. The man attended Nuneaton Justice Centre at about 6.30pm where he was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Yesterdays incident happened at the junction of Somers Road and Rathbone Close shortly after 9am. A 32 year old man, who was a passenger in a car which was driven along Somers Road, suffered serious facial injuries and is currently being treated in hospital. Officers are continuing to appeal for information about the incident, and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or been aware of any vehicles or suspicious activity in the area. Chief Inspector Ian Whiting, deputy commander for North Warwickshire, said: We are aware that there is a lot of talk and speculation locally and would urge people to bring that information to us. It will help us with the investigation and ensure that the right people are brought to justice.
