Fury. Its not like me to write reviews or recommend movies just for nothing. And I dont write reviews nearly half as well as my friend Shaun Moskie, but Fury is spectacular movie making. I sat with 50 other stunned people breathlessly watching this astonishingly well made, visceral and visually incredible movie. There are a few hammy hollywood moments and a little bit of hero worship, but this instant classic truly seems to capture the true feeling of what it must have been like. Having spent two years of my life in a tank, in the military, this was a must see movie for me and this may bias my opinion of this great great movie, and Im truly truly thankful that I never had to fire my tank gun at another human being, but I was trained to do it, and commanded a tank like Brad Pitts character acted out. The claustrophobia of 5 strangers locked in a metal box on tracks really is like that. What a great movie. Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Hamburger Hill, Saving Private Ryan and now Fury. My congratulations and jealousy to anyone who worked on that movie. Well done.
