It is convenient, safe and these are the main reasons that have contributed to the increase in popularity of air travel. The following are some pros and cons, involving air travel. The major shortcoming of air travel is the pollution caused by the planes jet engines. Emissions of greenhouse gasses by planes into our atmosphere results in global warming. It is cheaper to fill up your car than to travel by air. Thats why not everyone travel by air. Another con is that flights can be easily cancelled due to bad weather. But flying to your desired location is faster than by ship or bus. Planes take half as long to travel and carry more passenger than any other transportation. It has been called the safest way to travel. Because of controlled air spaces and the technologies that had been equipped in every plane. It has been in my understanding that air travel are not for everyone. Their reasons may be of ticket prices, fear of flying or safety. But we can say that future travel is in the air. Planes have been more advance. In reasons of the technologies we humans invent to make travel safe, faster and affordable.
