According to some people, It is the political party in which the Member of Parliament belongs that determines whether the mp is active in the house or not. We also know, party members sometimes meet and discuss issues before talking on the floor of Parliament. Apparently, in voting for representation, we have two things; the party and the individual. Now, some electorates in west Nile have said their leader is good but the party is misleading him or her. What should be considered in voting for a candidate in any elective position? Is party necessary in voting for a candidate? Do you think Uganda should leave multiparty politics so as to have proper representation in the parliament? Many thank for sharing your thoughts with us.
