It means this Word just pierced you and you needed this owie to sting a bit, so that you can reflect much deeper - I mean really get down to the bottom of it, in depth as to why, what was said here, rubbed you the wrong way. It is time to CHANGE Your ways, get off the FENCE today and STOP Straddling it! God loves you, but God aint hard up for you, you aint got it going on that Bad --- to think God is going to beg you to do right. You are sadly mistaken, if you think that.
