GARDAÍ HAVE ISSUED a Child Rescue Ireland Alert (CRI) in Roscommon following the disappearance of three children, aged between two and eight years old. Investigators in Roscommon are seeking the public’s assistance to trace the whereabouts of Killian Gregg (8), Elisha Gregg (6) and Derbhla Gregg (2). It is believed they are with their mother Fiona Gregg who is 41 years old and from an address at Hawthorn Avenue in Ballyforan. The children and their mother were last seen at about 3pm yesterday (Wednesday) at their home. Gardaí understand they are travelling in a blue Nissan Almera saloon car with a registration 01 – G – 7051. Killian and Elisha were wearing school uniforms described as dark-navy jumpers with sky-blue shirts and black trousers. Fiona, who is the children’s full-time carer and sole guardian, is described as 5’5″ tall, of medium build with black hair. Anyone with information is asked to call 999 or 112 and not approach those involved. This is only the second time a CRI alert has been issued in Ireland. Superintendant David Taylor said the unprecedented move has been taken as gardaí have concerns about the risk to the health and welfare of the children. They are only used where a “high benchmark of criteria” has been met. Appealing to Fiona Gregg, he urged her to call gardaí or a friend, adding that they were anxious to help her.
