GAUTENG OFFICE OF THE PREMIER POST: PERSONAL ASSISTANT REF NO: 00609 DIRECTORATE: Stakeholder Management (IGR) SALARY: R170 799 per annum (plus benefits) CENTRE: Johannesburg REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 certificate and a recognized post matric qualification in Secretarial or Office administration/equivalent qualification. Candidate must be computer literate (MS Office). Experience in community development and event management would be an added advantage. Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, time management skills and resilience. The candidate must be systematic, organized and assertive and have above average general insight. DUTIES: The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following - Attend to all incoming documents, telephone, faxes and emails. Control expenses and assist with the compilation of the Directorate’s budget. Diary Management. Assist with the arrangement of both internal and external meetings (if and when necessary). Ensure proper filling of document, controlling of stationary, collating of information and documents and maintaining updates of relevant information. Conduct initial synthesis and analysis of data and/or information. Provide administrative support in respect of co-ordination of meetings, workshops, and other forums, taking minutes, Data capturing, Logistics and Procurement. NOTES: Appointment subject to the signing of a performance agreement contract. The successful candidate will be required to submit to a security clearance check.
