GEOHAZARD MAPPING, POLICY & REGULATIONS, POLITICAL WILL: Storm surges (Pacific Storms and Habagat) reach up to this point along this coastal barangay, thus local land regulations were imposed and this foreshore/coastline was declared and marked NO BUILD ZONE from the marker to the Mean Sea Level of the beachfront. The area can only be developed for recreation, tourism, fishing, swimming which means preservation of the natural habitat not to mention the view of Mindanao Sea and Camiguin at the horizon.
