But its time we Americans, regardless of political affiliation, ask some very tough questions about the manner in which this administration is carrying out the war against terror. Very alarming things are happening. Without congressional or Joint Chiefs knowledge, consent or oversight - the President is simply releasing prisoners from the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base Detention Camp. Literally putting them on a jet and waving bye bye. According to a Pentagon statement released on Saturday, they were flown overnight to Kabul and handed over to the Afghan authorities, but it did not give a reason. Mohammed Zahirs detainee jacket states he was apprehended with Stinger missiles and uranium for a nuclear device when arrested in Afghanistan. He was just LET GO?? [Take the time to follow the links and read the 2 pieces below.] Even as men, women and *children* are being beheaded & buried alive in Iraq, were getting out of Afghanistan...and bragging about it. Were refusing to call islamic terrorism islamic terrorism, were shrinking the size of our military to historic lows, etc., etc., & were simply allowing islamic militants to walk. We HAVE TO ask the question, Why is our President doing this? Were dealing with serious issues of natl security here. Lives are at stake. Im not just out to get Obama, I want a safe nation and world. At this place in world events, why is President Obama just opening the doors and allowing these men to walk out?
