GIVING THANKS IN ALL THINGS, ACKNOWLEDGING THE MERCY,LOVING KINDNESS OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST BY THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. {Psalm 92:1-2} IT IS a good {and} delightful thing to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises [with musical accompaniment] to Your name, O Most High, To show forth Your loving-kindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, WHAT CAN WE GIVE IN EXCHANGE FOR THE BENEFITS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER HAS BESTOWED UPON US? {Psalm 116:12-13} What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me? [How can I repay Him for all His bountiful dealings?] I will lift up the cup of salvation {and} deliverance and call on the name of the Lord. THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD FOR EACH ONE OF US IS TO BE THANKFUL IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES IN LIFE. {1Thess.5:18} Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. {Phil.4:6-7} Do not fret {or} have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance {and} in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And Gods peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison {and} mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
