BIN MERFAA CO. & PARTNERS (for trading and contracting Ltd.) announces their urgent need for following Key Personnel for their ROYAL COMMISSION PROJECT in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. PROJECT MANAGER,A minimum of 15 years construction and management experience with the last 7 years in senior management positions in the organization and control of multi-discipline engineering projects specially site development projects. Candidates shall have past experience in organizing projects with emphasis on quality control, engineering, planning and coordination of interfaces. Five years’ experience required in the middle east or similar environment. An engineering degree from accredited university is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER, A minimum of 15 years construction experience with the last 5 years in senior management positions in the organization and control of civil engineering and site development projects. Candidate shall have past experience in organizing projects with emphasis on quality control, engineering, planning, and coordination of interfaces. Five years’ experience required in the Middle East or similar environment. An engineering degree from an accredited university is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. ENVIROMENTAL, SAFETY & HEALTH (ES & H) MANAGER, Shall have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in constructions, five years of which must have been as a safety representative on construction sites within the MENA region. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication as well as computer literate and hold Saudi National driving license. The candidate after contract award must pass an ES & H Manager competency test with a minimum pass mark of 65% and may also be subject to personal interview with Royal Commission Construction (ES & H) Department for evaluation prior to confirmation and approval. Contractor shall provide ES & H Manager with a dedicated ES & H vehicle and operational computer; PLANNING AND SCHEDULING ENGINEER, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the planning and scheduling of civil engineering projects, specially construction of Site Development Works. Candidates shall have 4 years’ experience in the Middle East or similar environment. An engineering degree from an accredited university is required. The candidate must be fluent in English Language, oral and written communication. QC MANAGER, A minimum of 10 years construction experience with a minimum 5 years’ experience in the management of on-site quality control and inspection organizations. Must have strong technical and administrative background to satisfy reporting and documentation requirements. An engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. PROCUREMENT MANAGER, A minimum of 10 years construction experience with a minimum 5 years’ experience in the procurement of materials, quality control, and inspection organizations. Five years’ experience required in the Middle East or similar environment. Must have strong technical and administrative background to satisfy reporting and documentation requirements. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. DOCUMENT CONTROL SUPERVISOR, Shall have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar document control works to the Royal Commission contracts. Must be literate in Info-Works, E-DOX and Primavera Computer Software. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. He shall have relevant previous experience in the civil environment with a general knowledge of project engineering and construction. ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY & HEALTH (ES&H) OFFICER, Shall have minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, 3 years of which must have been as a safety representative on construction sites within the MENA region. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. The candidate after contract award must pass an ES&H officers competency test with a minimum pass mark of 60%, and may also be subjected to a personal interview with Royal Commission Construction (ES&H) Department for evaluation prior to confirmation and approval. SUPERINTENDENT – CIVIL/STRUCTURAL WORKS,A minimum of 10 years construction experience with the last 5 years as superintendent on large multi-discipline projects. Past experience in coordinating and scheduling constructions works activities including, building works, road works, excavations, laying and installations of pipelines, constructions, concreting is required. A Civil Engineering degree from accredited university is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. SUPERINTENDENT – ELECTRICAL WORKS, A minimum of 10 years construction experience with the last 5 years as superintendent on large multi-discipline projects. Past experience in coordinating and scheduling constructions works activities including but not limited to, electrical power distribution, street lighting and building works is required. An Electrical Engineering degree from accredited university is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. SUPERINTENDENT – TELECOMMUNICATION WORKS, A minimum of 10 years construction experience with the last 5 years as superintendent on large multi-discipline projects. Past experience in coordinating and scheduling constructions works activities including but not limited to, telecommunication/CATV is required. A Telecom Engineering degree from accredited university is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. SUPERINTENDENT – MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING WORKS,A graduate mechanical engineer from an accredited institution with at least 10 years’ experience in similar work. He should have at least 5 years supervisory experience in project construction with piping works. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. FIELD ENGINEER – CIVIL/STRUCTURAL WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field of civil/structural engineering works. A civil engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. FIELD ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field and site electrical/telecommunication/CATV engineering works. An electrical engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. FIELD ENGINEER – TELECOMMUNICATION WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field and site telecommunication/CATV engineering works. A telecom engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. FIELD ENGINEER – MECHANICAL WORKS, A graduate mechanical engineer with 8 years site experience. Must have proven record of accomplishment for the supervision of mechanical/piping installations. Should be familiar with prevailing mechanical codes/standards and specifications pertaining to Royal Commission. Shall also be familiar with material and construction requirements for mechanical works. Capable of overseeing mechanical works i.e. piping and familiar with calculations, documentation and as built drawings. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. QC ENGINEER – CIVIL/STRUCTURAL WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field of QC works. A civil engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. QC ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field of QC works with relevant experience in electrical works. An electrical engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. QC ENGINEER – TELECOMMUNICATION WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field of QC works with relevant experience in telecommunication works. An electrical engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. QC ENGINEER – MECHANICAL WORKS, A minimum of 8 years construction experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the field of QC works with relevant experience in mechanical works. A mechanical engineering degree is required. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. QUANTITY SURVEYOR/COST ESTIMATOR, A minimum of 8 year construction experience with a minimum 5 years’ experience in the quantity surveying and cost estimating construction works, materials and equipment. Four years’ experience required in the middle East or similar equivalent. Must have strong technical and administrative background to satisfy reporting and documentation requirements. The candidate must be fluent in English language, oral and written communication. SITE NURSE, Shall have current, in-date valid qualification, be licensed in accordance with Ministerial Decision 404 with a minimum of a diploma in nursing issued by a recognized medical body acceptable to the Royal Commission, and with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in practical and medical treatment. In addition, shall also have a current, in-date valid First Aider, Basic Life Support or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certificate issued by a recognized medical body acceptable to the Royal Commission. The candidate must be fluent in English Language, oral and written communication with the ability to keep a daily medical logbook. The candidate after contract award will be subjected to a personal interview with Royal Commission Construction (ES & H) Department for evaluation prior to confirmation and approval. All candidates for the above positions are subject to a personal interview with the Royal Commission’s Construction Department at the post award stage for evaluation prior to confirmation.
