GOD TOOK Ezekiel’s wife…and he was a righteous prophet. MEDITATE ON HOW DEEP GOD’S LOVE is TODAY……..for MANKIND…………………..WE ARE THE DESIRE OF GOD’S EYE and HE might go CRAZY to PROVE it…………… …..GOD said….To a prophet named Ezekiel………….. …………Ezekiel 24: 15 The word of the LORD came to me: 16 “Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears. 17 Groan quietly; do not mourn for the dead. Keep your turban fastened and your sandals on your feet; do not cover your mustache and beard or eat the customary food of mourners.”…18 So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. The next morning I did as I had been commanded……19 Then the people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things have to do with us? Why are you acting like this?”……(All I can say is better Ezekiel than me. But then again….Ezekiel’s ministry is written in the bible forever, and his ministry has blessed me and many. His words….so powerful, true, and a validated man of GOD. And besides…it’s not like Ezekiel could control GOD.) ……………… …………..I HAVE OFTEN wondered HOW much GOD loves PEOPLE. And the answer is…..ONE answer, HE loves PEOPLE so much…..he would actually allow Job to lose his whole family, health, business…..to DEMONSTRATE messages to humanity. Job did get back double, but he still lost his first family. That is sad for Job, but he’s not crying now. WE know of him and his suffering and it tells us no matter what….GOD is working things in our favor when we LOVE and TRUST HIM…….Even Ezekiel. Not to mention things Joseph went through. Sold into slavery and then put in jail for things he didn’t do. David chased by a king who allowed him to fight Goliath, then got jealous and tried to kill him. GOD’S people went into slavery for four hundred years for disobedience. I’M GETTING the feeling by these scriptures………WE MATTER to GOD. Not just ONE of us…but ALL of us….and to GOD….life will not be perfect and those who LOVE HIM….love HIM…and HE’S SOVEREIGN. And once GOD simply told Ezekiel, “YOUR WIFE will die. I will allow her to be taken in one strong. Don’t cry for her. Groan quietly, but everyone will see this and wonder. And then…………YOU PREACH and let them know why I did this. THAT ULTIMATELY I am bringing them CLOSER to me, and in UNDERSTANDING of MY WAYS….and I will take away things they love….for sins of pride, and sin, rebellion and disobedience. WHY? Because if the only way I can get their attention is by loss…yours, theirs, anyone’s….so be it.” That kinda love doesn’t always feel good….but the bible says GOD, AS A FATHER disciplines those who HE loves. If not….HE doesn’t love them and they aren’t HIS. ……………
