Well, I am walking down Kailua-Kona watching da sunset this evening when I saw Dante. Dante is a good surfer and surf instructor who relapsed when the economy hit da shits in 2008 or 2009 or so!.....Dante worked well with children with disabilities but had no real formal education, so his pay was very small, while working with very difficult children. The agency he worked for fired him immediately when his drug addiction surfaced......now he is unemployable.....very, very skinney...and lost hope in his eyes too! We hugged one another as Dante asked me are you back in da rooms? Dante is 56 and I am 62 and he will most certainly die soon...I have seen this too many times.....Dante has thrown in da towel, watching him walk down da street made me cry....I miss my clean friend Dante, and always will love my dirty friend Dante.....BB
