Novemberzauber (November magic) is an artisans market with musical and culinary entertainment, taking place in Schwabach in the Alte Synagoge (old synagogue on Synagogengasse 6) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., today and tomorrow. Local vendors show arts and crafts, fashion and accessories for the home and live music provides the entertainment in the cafe. Admission is free. Bad Windsheim is hosting a pre-seasonal Advent market in the Kur and Kongress-Center (KKC on Erkenbrechtallee 2, next to the spa) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., tomorrow. Visitors can find home-made seasonal products, holiday decorations, jewelry, pottery, candles, wood carvings, and get in the mood for the holidays with piano music, St. Nikolaus and other entertainment. The Bavarian championship of sled dog races called Frankonia Open runs today and tomorrow in Schöneberg near Lauf. Races and other events start today at 9:30 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. and are continued tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Vendors sell animal accessories and food and beverages.
