‘GOOD SAMARITANS’ MAY HOLD KEY TO LOCATING MISSING MUM Have you helped missing GP Elizabeth Kinston since she left her home more than a week ago? The latest suspected sighting of the 37-year-old places her at the Castle Marina Retail Park, Nottingham, on the day she went missing, but officers are still trying to establish where she went from there. A person, believed to be Elizabeth, has been seen outside Sainsbury’s supermarket just after noon on Friday 1 November 2013. Detective Inspector Kev Broadhead said: “Were you shopping at Sainsbury’s or in the Castle Marina Retail Park on Friday 1 November? Do you remember seeing Elizabeth or a blonde woman wearing a pink hooded jumper featuring the outline of a chicken pecking a cup? “Did you pick her up in your taxi or bus that day? “Another weekend has passed since Elizabeth left her home without her phone or much cash and we are drawing a blank as to where she went after the retail park that same day. Could someone out there be helping her? “It’s cold and wet outside. Where has she been sheltering? Where has she been sleeping? “Have you put her up at your B&B, hotel or shelter since then? “I would appeal to good Samaritans out there who may have helped Elizabeth on the 1st or since then to call us. Her family are beyond worried for her and would just like to hear that she is safe.” The potential sighting outside Sainsbury’s follows five other confirmed sightings of Elizabeth on the day she left her Park Road home in Beeston at some point after 10am on Friday 1 November 2013. For more than a week detectives have been working with the mum-of-two’s worried family in a bid to locate her. Searches continue to be undertaken and officers have also linked in with bus and taxi providers, hotels and refuges. Elizabeth is on maternity leave from her job as a GP and is believed to be suffering from post-natal depression since the birth of her second daughter in January this year. A large part of that search includes reviewing CCTV. As a result, the Audi she was driving was seen at a petrol station near Priory Island, on the A52, then at the Broad Marsh Car Park, both in Nottingham that same day. She was then seen walking along Carrington Street and Queens Bridge Road in the city centre at around 11.40am and again in Queen’s Drive near the junction with Castle Bridge Road just before noon. The Audi was recovered from the car park the following day, along with a mobile phone and purse, but there was no sign of Elizabeth. She is white, around 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build. She has blonde, shoulder-length hair, which was tied back in a ponytail. She was wearing a light pink hooded jumper, blue jeans and dark brown knee-high boots. She also had with her a dark green quilted coat with a fur hood, a dark woollen hat with a peak, and a red and black rucksack. If you have seen Elizabeth, or know where she is, contact Nottinghamshire Police or call Crimestoppers anonymously.
