GP00 BLOSSOM Conversion kit, by Model Legend Workshop; frames and parts, quickie review. Overall very happy with this garage kit. For the most part the details are pretty sharp, with minor amounts of flash (but this is to be expected) Certainly nothing like the egregious amounts I normally find on FW kits, and the terrible B-club resin manipulaters I bought. Mold lines are in general good aswell. There are a few that could have been a bit better, the worst being on the tanks for the BFG. But I have starred tidying that up, and its looking good. The worst parts of the kit so far appear to be:- those tanks; a little bit of iffy detail mirroring on the rear skirt/core fighter tail; The big gun isnt quite straight along its length, I believe its in the construction and not a miscast, heat warp, or crushing bend. May attempt to straighten, but will probably pin and glue it to off line to correct this.bthere is also an air bubble in one end of the longer section, easily fillable however. A couple off pieces could have been mastered a little better, as there a couple of possible visable surfaces, that arent quite flat, but a bit of burring/filing/putty will rectify these. The worst part however is the cod piece It actually looks miscast with an internal chunk of material missing, which makes the surface transparent. This will fill with putty/epoxy resin to repair and strengthen and not need to much clean up. The directional thrusters either side dont match, one of which looks pretty poorly cast, with not enough definition in the master, or slump from not curing long enough. The fix on this will be either replace with some correct sized pieces of metal tube, or those mini thrusters made from circuit board chip sockets.
