GRANITE TILE ADHESIVE : DESCRIPTION It is a cement based, polymer added highly stable high performance flexible adhesive used in adhesion of ceramics, granites, marbles, natural stones, glass mosaics, and press bricks. FIELDS of APPLICATION • Indoor and outdoor areas for vertical and horizontal applications, • In the adhesion of ceramics, granites, marbles, natural stones, glass mosaics and press bricks to cement based surfaces exposed to temperature differences, • It can be used on wall and floor of frozen air store. • It can be used again in ceramic sticking works without dismantling fernished ceramic surface. APPLICATION • The surface must be clean and smooth. • Cracked surface must be repaired by KEMIKOL repairing mortars. • Until 5 mm. cracks can be fill up with KEMIKOL. • If the used surface be more absorbent it, fill up with KEM primer. • Put whole bag of KEMIKOL (25 Kg.) in 5,5 – 7,5 Lt. clean water. Mixed mechanically (manually or by a low-speed mixer). The mortar is rested for 5 minutes and then mixed again right before the application. • Bonding surface wheeling with geared trowel. • External dimentions of trowel informed as ceramic sizes and used surface smoothness. • For better bonding of ceramic use plastic haul to put out inter air. CONSUMPTION Ceramic Rake Consumption 120 Cm² (10x10) 6x6x6 Mm. One side sticking 4 Kg/m² Double side sticking 5-6 Kg/m² between 120 Cm² (10x10) and 500 Cm² (25x20) 8x8x8 Mm. One side sticking 5 Kg/m² Double side sticking 6,5 Kg/m² between 500 Cm² (25x20) and 3600 Cm² (60x60) 10x10x10 Mm. One side sticking 5,5 Kg/m² Double side sticking 7-8 Kg/m² STORAGE • It can be stored 1 year in a covered warehouse at 20 ºC and up to 50% relative humidity. • It can be stored 10 bags max. WARNING As it’s a cement based material, it should not be inhaled directly. No other materials (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) should not be added to the ready mix in application. The values given above may vary depending on the site conditions and surface properties. All given informations are theoretical and on the field informations could change. KEM is responsible of the product suitable for the standardized.
