#GRATITUDECHALLENGE DAY 6 APPRECIATING GOD FOR MINISTRIES THAT HAVE IMPACTED MY LIFE (2) The Fathers Church When we were moving out of Kubwa we began to pray and trust God for a church to attend and on a certain day while i was in the bank, a friend walked in, accompanied by another young man and they were sharing fliers for their inaugural service. My friend did not initially want to invite as he said he considered me a Bishop and not the kind they were targeting but his friend Emeka Abadom insisted that they invite me and gave me the flier. On seeing the flier i realised i already knew the Pastor, Ikenna Okeke and i was drawn to the arrangement. I went home and told my wife and she said ti give it a shot. I attended the inaugural service, took my family with me the next Sunday and weeks later i was also baptised by immersion at the Jabi lake by Pastor-Ikenna Okeke and the rest is history. We have been in the ministry for upwards of 11 years and have built a family that we are proud of. I want to thank God for the life of my Pastor who is completely sold out to God and committed to seeing people under stand the work that was accomplished through the cross and the importance of living a life devoid of sin. His love for God is known to all and that is his foundation driver. God has also shown us his mercy through this ministry, having served in various capacities and still serving. I have seen people healed, the barren giving birth, the poor get rich and the rich get richer. The awesome grace of God is on this ministry and if you are reading this and happen to find yourself in Abuja do please find time to join us and you will be blessed! Rhema Nigeria In the early stages of my walk with God i contemplated going to Rhema Bible Training College Tulsa, USA but the it did not quite walk out due to certain conditions and i kind of gave up the idea. Four years ago Rhem Bible Training Center came to Nigeria, Abuja to be precise and my wife stepped in first and she unsettled me with her stories and scriptures and my heart started pumping. Now at this time i had gone through a period of major downtime in my life financially and all and it was looking really despondent and i needed something drastic! In January 2012 joined RBTC Nigeria and sat at the back of the class on the first day and i said Lord this is the last stop and something must give! I sat under the teaching of anointed men of God like Tokunbo Adejuwon, Matt Beemer, Marty Blackwelder, Susan Fletcher, Olu Adetomiwa, Julie Graham Beemer to mention a few and my life turned over! I was mostly rearranged when we took the believers authority class and i read the book by Kenneth E. Hagin, The believers authority and boom the light came! Mark Hankins came and did more damage to my old mind with his #InChristed gospel and i became more aware of my engrafted nature! I became a word practitioner as i realised that my confessions had so much to do with my spiritual growth. Furthermore i got hold of the scripture in 1 Cor 9:8 and realised how rich i was despite my present state at that time considering that Jesus already made me rich and this unimaginable began to unfold as i confessed that scripture over my life! I am grateful to God for these two ministries that have also become my families and i am in deed honoured to be associated with them!
