Had a surprise post retirement lunch with some of the ladies from church (Sarah convinced me that Rev Janet and the ladies wanted to spend some time with Darrick and she wanted me to tag along). It was lovely and Alex joined us for awhile too! Icing on the cake was that I got to spend time with Darrick before and after the event.
