GREF EMPLOYEES WIVES WELFARE ASSOCIATION (GREWWA) is approved by Registrar of Scoieties, Delhi under Registration Act XXI of 1860 vide no. S-67259/2009 dated 26 OCT 2009 The office of the Association shall remain in the Union Territory of Delhi and at present it is located at WZ-429A, NARAINA VILLAGE, NEW DELHI-110028. Aims & Objectives The Association shall seek larger social and welfare of all discharged/retired and serving GREF subordinates and officers, their spouse, parents and unmarried dependent children by undertaking the following activities: To establish, manage, maintain and run educational and vocational institutions at suitable locations and/or to provide financial assistance and other facilities to the ward of GREF employees. To promote talent in dance, theatres, music, arts, songs, yoga, meditation, creativity of the dancers, artists, musicians, singers, poets, theatre persons and other related to any form of visual and performing arts, in particular the young professional by providing necessary guidance and financial assistance in seeking admission to various institutions. To give or establish prizes for excellence achieved by the spouse and wards of GREF officers and subordinates, in the field of academic excellence. To grant educational scholarships or provide financial aid to needy/meritorious wards of GREF officers and subordinates in the field of education. To take up with the appropriate authorities of the Govt. of India, the matters concerning with service and living standards of the members of the GENERAL RESERVE ENGINEER FORCE. To subscribe or give donations, financially or otherwise to such other agencies Associations or institutions who are working in a similar field or are involved in the Activities which tend to support or air/advance the aims and objects of the association. To complete, publish and distribute or give, financial aid, in the publication of any literature for the promotion of the above objects. To translate, print, publish, circulate and distribute appropriate material for distribution of useful knowledge through magazines, pamphlets or other mode for the Development, promotion, benefit and advancement of the activities of the association. To open branches wherever considered expedient for promotion of above object. To use the audio-visual media for furtherance of its aims and objects. To work in close co-operation with the authorities of GREF/Govt. of India, for Projecting the image of the GREF in the general public, in such a manner that it gains Better acceptance at national level. To receive any grant, donation, fee, support and assistance in any form for the Furtherance of the objects of the association. To purchase, lease, secure by exchange or license, hire or otherwise acquire any movable or immovable property and any interest, easement, right and privilege necessary or alter any moveable and immovable property of the association and undertake such other activities as may be necessary and incidental to objects of the Association. To frame bye-laws and rules and regulations for the conduct of the business of the association and its officers and employees. To do all such other lawful acts, deeds and things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
