GSA (Giselle service announcement): (approaches the mic) is this thing on? it is? oh. ladies and gentlemen. family and friends. poets and poetry lovers. lovers of this hurricane of a woman they call Giselle. i just talked to her. she is good. she is giving the doctors orders. orchestrating this thing from her bed and phone. she is a little jittery and jumpy. (which is to be expected) she is being treated for a small blood clot in her lungs. when i say small, i mean pepper flake small. she will be up and running in no time. her body is just making an adjustment. please refrain from blowing her phone and inbox up. you can certainly send messages of light to her inbox. just please hold back on the phone calls and text messages. and questions! please dont ask her a ton of questions. we need to keep the anxiety down. everybody, be cool and calm. we gotta be on the same page. (i couldnt help it. puns are fun. especially, to poets.) last thing - if you are praying. burning sage. sending carrier pigeons to the moon. boiling easter eggs. or meditating on gi. dont do it with your knees knocking. whatever your faith looks like, stand strong in it. she needs us to be strong. she is the only one that gets to fall apart if she wants to. and you know her, she doesnt want to. thank you for reading all the way down to here. i am just doing what she asked. as i always will. i hope you have a light-filled day. keep sending it her way. one love, natty on gis behalf shes the ventriloquist im just the puppet she makes me do her bidding i cant stop looking for sympathy points okay bye
