GSK kennels is very dedicating to providing our dogs with the very best possible, thats why we feed them a all raw diet, which consists of raw meat, bones and organ meat and occasional raw eggs, before anyone asks, yes raw means uncooked, fresh meat we provide them with chicken, pork, beef, venison, turkey, ducks, rabbits, goats, and pretty much any other meat that becomes available for them, we do this because we want to make sure we know what is going into our dogs, and we want to make sure they are eating their natural diet, which is much easier for them to digest than kibble and comes with many health benefits..including but not limited to: shinier coats, cleaner teeth, less shedding, smaller stools easier to pickup, no more doggy odor, less allergies, stronger immune system, dogs that are fed raw are less stressed because the food they eat digest easily while dogs that eat kibble have a hard time digesting their food which causes them to be stressed and can cause them to be hyper, but raw fed dogs have more energy and stamina than kibble fed dogs however its a healthy energy. raw fed dogs drink less water because of all the moist in the meat and they are not always dehydrated oppose to kibble fed dogs that are always dehydrated and drink a lot more water all the chemicals in the dog can easily cause allergies, infections, kidney failure, feed cancer and many more problems. some of the myths about raw feeding is that your dog will get parasites, salmonella, or simply become bloodthirsty and aggressive, well the reality is the strong acids in your dogs stomach enable them to destroys those bacterias and parasites in other words the bacteria in the meat will not cause harm to your canines. As far as them becoming aggressive, look at my dogs for example. They are all feed a raw diet(whole prey style) meaning my dogs in particular eat whole carcasses with fur and all from various species. they are never allowed to kill an animal but they are served with whole carcasses as this the closest to their natural eating rituals in the wild, but my dogs are extremely social and sweet with people, kids, cats and farm animals such as chickens, ducks and goats! there are many videos of them interacting with other animals. The reason I share this with you is because my page is an educational page for those interested in healthy alternatives for their furmily members. a healthy and balanced raw diet consists of a variety of meats, bones and organ meat, raw bones are safe and an important part of your dogs diet. cooked bones and bare bones(with no meat attached) can be dangerous. but dont worry just like with us humans it does not need to be balanced everyday. as long as your dog is getting variety over time during the course of the month they will be fine, but the more variety and the more often you varies what they eat the best for them and the best way to avoid food allergies. altho you dont need to measure anything( I never do) you feed your dog about 2-3% of their ideal body weigh a day and %10 for puppies. that is with the bones included. try to feed mostly meat with some bones and a few times a week a small amount of liver and kidney as all these are important part of their diet, green tripe is also very healthy for your dogs and helps with their digestion. a supplement their diet with occasional raw fresh eggs from local farms and I offer to them with the shell and all. I also give them a tea spoon of coconut oil and add a tea spoon of organic apple cider vinegar to their water, these 2 supplements have numerous health benefits for your dogs! This diet is great for dogs of all ages and breeds, even Chihuahuas and other tiny breeds, and also giant breeds, and older dogs that have been switched showed immediate shocking changes in the way they look and feel .here is a video of my pack eating an entire deer carcass( DO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE STOMACH,OR CANT TOLERATE LIFE) because what you are about to see is very normal and very healthy for your dogs not just as a diet, but mentally, dentally and physically as well! we have received 100s of emails asking for this post so I hope many can get to read it https://youtube/watch?v=KUZyvNawej8
