#GTPD Media Release: Man Arrested After Burglarizing Pantry One Convenience Store On May 4, 2014 at approximately 3:45 A.M., the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the Pantry One convenience store at 501 Black Horse Pike in the Glendora for a burglary alarm. Arriving officers observed the two front glass doors had been smashed out and the alarm sounding. The cash drawer was found open inside the store. GTPD patrol officers quickly established a perimeter around the surrounding area and located a suspicious male at the corner of Front Street and the Black Horse Pike. The investigating officers reviewed the security video and positively identified the suspicious male as the person responsible for committing the commercial burglary. The male was placed under arrest at the scene, and was then searched, when officers located numerous proceeds from the burglary. Arrested: Michael Christy Jr., Age 32, 1400 block of Chestnut Avenue, Gloucester City, NJ 08030 , Charged with Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief.
