The prime intention of our constitution is that our democracy is for the people, by the people and of the people but it seems that for the thieves, of the thieves and by the thieves. I am sure that several political parties in India /Kerala including our representatives misuse/loot our money. We can see corruption everywhere. Several politicians don’t know the value of hard work. They earn money without doing any work. Their unity is only to betray the people and to increase their salary and allowances90% of political leaders do not do anything for the benefit of India/Kerala. Their only aim is to earn money at any cost without doing any work. They never consider ordinary citizen in India. They are not deserved to get a single paisa as salary and/or allowance as their productivity is a big zero. Our legislative members are authorized to spend plenty of money for the development of their constituency but according to some of them it is limited to widen roads, construct office complex, etc. A man with novel ideas can do several things for the development of their constituency. Contributions by Mr. Thomas Isac to his constituency Mararikkulam are notable, where he introduced biogas plants, Kudumbasree, umbrella manufacturing unit, etc are notable. Indian soldiers are always vigilant to protect us from Pakistan & Chinese infiltration/attacks. Some politicians are doing criminal conspiracy to kill our citizens. Their intention is to put more money in Swiss bank and acquire more property. It is very difficult to see a political party with an idea to protect our citizen/nation. Some of them concentrate their attention to save money at any cost, insult/murder their opponents. Murder of Jayakrishnan, Balu, Ancheri baby, T.P. Chandrasekhar, Bhuvanachandran , Arun, Prof. Titus are some examples. We have to identify the difference between politics and criminal activities. Several political leaders around us are not politicians, actually they are criminals. Recently one leader is notorious for his 1,2,3,4 --- killing speeches. When the court liberalizes his bail condition, one of the leading political parties in Kerala arranged warm welcome to him. It gives wrong message to the whole community particularly our young generation. We should realize that this is not politics. It must be remembered that our soldiers sacrifice themselves to save our land but some political leaders take our life and destroy national property. I remember the words of Kerala Chief Whip Mr. P.C. George, in last week of June 2013, that if the asset of our politicians for last ten years is investigated, it would disclose the mask of majority of our politicians. But we never identify their real face. Still we are in bondage of religion and blind political ideas. My dear friend, it should be noted that Indian democratic system is better than the democratic system prevails in other countries. We are responsible of the degradation of our democratic system. This is the apt time to act and save our system, culture, tradition etc. We should cast vote on basis of candidate’s capability, not on their religion, caste, color and/or party. We are at the edge of disaster. Most of our political parties have the same intention to cheat us, to loot us………..It must be avoided. Politics must not be the last resort of a criminal. Our country has abundant natural resources and manpower. It must be utilized for the welfare of us and national integrity. We need genuine leaders to lead us, to rule over us properly. “ I have travelled across the length & breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief, such wealth I have seen in this country , such moral values , people of such caliber, ………………….” Lord . What is our present situation? Only solution is to cast our vote for genuine and educated candidates irrespective of their caste and political party.
