Gamer of the Week - Gregory Bloomer Gregory was hot this weekend, he batted .700 with one home run and 2 doubles. His on base % for the tournament was an amazing .833! He helped his Gamers to a win in international tie breaker with 3 RBIs. He also pitched three scoreless innings! Way to Game Gregory! Co- Fastpitch Gamer of the week- Elizabeth Smith Elizabeth was key to her teams championship bid this weekend! She pitched two shut outs in a row for her 98 Gamers Hobby team to get them to the ship! She then pitched the championship game to a international tie breaker finish. Atta Gamer! Co- Fastpitch Gamer of the week - Lexi Lexi pitches and plays 1st and right field for 03 Gamers OLeary. This past weekend she threw a no hitter and went 7 for 12 at the plate! She started playing baseball when she was five years old and she enjoyed outrunning the boys. A season later she decided to try softball and has been in love with it ever since. Lexi began pitching when she was 8 years old. The feeling she gets when she pitches is her favorite part of the game. Her dream is to play and pitch at the collegiate level. Lexi makes excellent grades and consistently exceeds standards in her grade level curriculum. She is also very involved in school activities such as Jr. Beta and Reading Bowl. Lexi is very friendly and supportive of her teammates and friends. Keep it up Lexi!
