Garrett Delano UPDATE: Thanks for everyones concern regarding Garrett Delano, my legislative assistant. After receiving daily updates from Garretts mother Sharon every day for the past 10 days, Neil and I were invited by his parents to actually see him and visit him yesterday at Peace Health SW WA. Garrett is in very good spirits but he is still very critical in the ICU there. He also asked me to please post that while he misses everyone, he is not ready for visitors at this time. Hopefully, he will be well enough soon to move out of ICU. I am asking everyone for prayers and positive healing thoughts for Garrett and his family at this difficult time. In case, you were not aware, Garrett was injured July 27 in a motorcycle accident. I expect he will make a full recovery. When that occurs, he will resume his full-time duties of managing my district office in Camas, and then, my Olympia office while I am in session. While Garrett is recovering, Wanda Brosey, one of our experienced Legislative Assistants in the House, will assist in fielding calls and e-mails to my office and managing my calendar.
