Gd Afternoon, From the WISDOM of man and the world we move to 3) THE WISDOM OF THE SERPENT (THE DEVIL) Why would JESUS advice/warn his own DISCIPLES thus? Behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; Be ye therefore as WISE as SERPENTS, and HARMLESS as DOVES -Mathew 10: 16 BECAUSE THE WISDOM OF THE SERPENT IS PROGRAMED TO TEMPT; TO KILL; TO STEAL; TO DESTROY YOU AND I In Genesis 3 1-6 – The serpent tempted Eve Now the serpent was WISER and more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” Eve answered, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but We must not eat or touch the fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, or else we die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent told to the woman. “God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God....” Then Eve ate and so did Adam In Mathew 4; 4-11;The serpent tempted Jesus After fasting for 40 days and nights, the tempter came to Jesus and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “Man shall not live on bread alone....... Then the devil again said “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: “He will command his angels concerning you..... Again, the devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of this world and said “All this I will give you if you will bow down and worship me” Again Jesus answered, “Away from me, Satan! It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.
