Wa-ull..... it was so cold when I woke up this morni....uh....afternoon, I was positive it was going to be a miserable day. ...and THEN the Sun came out,! How quickly our perception of our perceived future can change, as soon as the Sun comes out!.... it was cool, but warm enuf to walk the dogs without even a jacket....what a pleasure. Then ...what did my eyes behold? Faeries in my Faerie-land? No! My own-personal House-cleaning Faerie arrived on my Bridge, equipped with Gossamer Wings....and with red hair flowing, she swung her wand (duster) and disappeared into the house. Before I could click my Lavender, Diamond encrusted Heels together, in just a blink of an eye....she flew away. I ran inside, and what did I find? Just 8 tiny Rugs all shiny and clean on a floor that shined like Gold!...Room to room I ran, in great delight...How lucky I am, what a lovely day! I went into the sun, tied a dog to the rail....and picked up a wee spade. On... ON..TO my Lavender Pond....to watch the wee ones cavorting and begging for food. I began by pulling a few weeds, moving several stones (color-coordinating them~~) when suddenly I discovered a once unforseen stone wall under 6+ of Dirt! HOURS later, I had exposed it for 15, made it a path by pulling weeds and grass, then making a stair-way sans steps up to the Bridge. Dark dirt and clay under every fingernail...hands black as a Coal Miner, I brushed the wisp of hair from my brow and peered into the sun and lo-and-behold ...to what do I owe this surprise to my eyes...? No Reindeer nor Faeries...but a lovely Lady with clean hands and polished Nails ...carrying an EMERGENCY gift bag of wine to be hidden until needed. We sat and chatted, conversed and laughed...around my Lavender Pond, amused by the fish and ourselves for over an hour!~~~ EYE love DAYS LIKE THIS! ~ ♥ ~
