Gday all, i am just curious where the groups that were protecting the Mary River valley from the traveston dam, are now that WA mining companies are going to be doing exploration drilling for magnesium in the valley. They have plans if finding rich deposits in areas like opposite the yabba creek at imbil is old abandoned mining ares to see if it is worth retrieving to line someones pockets, i bet not yours. Yet Mr Gibson flies over to perth to have meeting about mining here at our expense ? Excuse me, wake up mary river valley peeps. What will this do to the Mary river turtle & Lung fish, which BTW thrive in the Yabba Creek in their thousands below the Borumba Dam. This they need water to mine it out, with chemicals & raw minerals leaching into the creeks flowing into the Mary river #Justsaying. I am moving to victoria b4 xmas, why should i care. Sean A Robbo.
